March 2009,  Over the past few months we have been working hard on some pretty big projects. 

 

One included, the NAVFAC Type II Hangar and Aircraft Parking Apron project consists of the design and construction of a new 276,000 SF aircraft maintenance hangar and extensive related site development, including over one million square feet of airfield paving.  The facility will provide operations / administrative office space, maintenance shops and aircraft maintenance bays for six Navy aviation squadrons relocating from NAS Brunswick, Maine as a result of Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) legislation.  The hangar bays will provide space for simultaneous maintenance activities on seven C-130 and P-3 aircraft. The design will also accomodate transition to the Navy's new MMA (737 airframe) aircraft. The hangar structure will include two primary truss spans of over 450 feet.  The total construcion cost was $123,522,000.

 

 

 

We also recently completed Virginia College of Jacksonville.  They offer Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs in Business, criminal justice, paralegal, healthcare, technology and even culinary arts.
